Students attend classes on Sunday evenings from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at One Memphis Street in Hernando. There is an extended session for the dining etiquette and dinner dance class from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. to accommodate the dinner.
Students may arrive 5 -10 minutes before class begins and must be picked up punctually. The Hernando Cotillion and One Memphis Street are not responsible for children before or after class.
We are excited to include a three-course meal in conjunction with the dining etiquette lesson to promote hands-on learning and engagement. Students will enjoy a sit-down dinner along with dancing during this immersive and informative 2-hour lesson on table manners.
Students are asked to please follow a strict dress code to ensure their comfort and promote our standards.
LADIES ATTIRE: A conservative dress or skirt and top. Flats or low heels and short white gloves are required. Please no strapless dresses or high heel shoes. The Square Cupboard in town will have a supply of gloves for cotillion ladies to purchase.
GENTLEMEN ATTIRE: A blazer or suit, with a tie. Please also wear a dress shirt with nice shoes or loafers.
Please Notes: No tennis shoes, sneakers, flip-flops or denim (with the exception of the 50s theme party).
